After earning a degree in computer science from International University in Germany Bruchsal, Florian “Flo” Leibert went on to work in various technology and software engineering roles at HeadCase, Ning, Twitter, and Airbnb. In 2013, Florian Leibert co-founded Mesosphere, Inc. in San Francisco and led the company through various product developments.
In 2015, Mesosphere partnered with Cisco to develop the Infinity platform based out of Mesosphere’s Datacenter Operating System (DC/OS) to help IT organizations simplify the deployment of complex open source technologies.
The Infinity platform has improved the efficiency level of data centers by increasing scalability and manageability. Before, a single engineer cold only manage a maximum of 500 servers, but with Infinity, the management capacity of these professionals has increased to 10,000 servers. The way that Infinity works is by identifying the various stages of deployment needed to build component services and transforming them into a single and operational stack. In addition to optimizing processes, the Infinity platform includes other features such as predictive analytics to manage risks and identify new opportunities; anomaly detection to resolve defects in real-time; and personalization to improve user customer experience.
